Regardless of what you’re getting into, here’s how to know if you should wrap it up.

Whether you're getting off with a silicone penis or a flesh one, condoms can keep things safe and clean.

They're the best line of defense (aside from abstinence) against STIs and HIV. Plus, they help prevent pregnancy when used correctly and consistently. Basically, they have your back a lot of the time.

But there are also some situations when you probably don’t want to use a condom.

Like when you can't find one, or when that means a mouthful of latex, or when you're in a mutually monogamous relationship and you're just sick of condoms. We get it.

The thing is, condoms are still very useful (and recommended!) in the vast majority of situations. So to help you figure out if you should be using one or not, we put together this handy quiz:
